Legalize Australia.

We’ve seen the progress of multiple countries that have legalized marijuana to one degree or another, whether it be for medicinal purposes or recreational purposes.

The results thus far are that in fact the legalization of the beautiful plant only does good for the people and the community as a whole.

Australia & WeedImagine the wonders legalization of cannabis would have in Australia. Think of how much tax revenue we could raise to get out of this damn deficit.

It would curb the spike in alcohol fuelled violence on our streets. Instead those same people could be at home raiding their cupboard because they have the munchies, rather than punching people out in the streets.

Many well respected people have spoken up and said that we should legalize marijuana in Australia. The most prominent being Dr. Alex Wodak, Director of Alcohol and Drug Service at St. Vincent’s Hospital.

Dr. Wodak is also the President of the Australian Drug Law Reform Foundation. “Regulating and taxing cannabis and diverting funds into treatment for cannabis-dependent people would ultimately save our country millions.” Dr. Wodak says.

Hopefully at some point in our lives we will see the full legalization and regulation of cannabis across our great nation, freeing up millions of valuable dollars and at the same time raising millions in tax revenue.
